Marlon King believes his form is starting to return after thanking Coventry City for giving him a chance back in football.
The striker signed for Coventry in September following a spell in prison and has yet to score in nine appearances for the club.
However, he is looking to claim the Sky Blues' second goal in Saturday's 2-0 win at Scunthorpe after his shot came back off the post and rebounded into the net off Iron keeper Joe Murphy.
King is confident his mistakes are now in the past and he is happy with the backing he has received since joining Aidy Boothroyd's Coventry.
Confidence
"Everybody makes mistakes!"said King.
"I've made mine, the same as everybody else. But I have to put things behind me and get on with my life.
"Amid a lot of negative stuff I can only thank the board, the management, my fellow players and the fans of Coventry for their support.
"I am starting to regain my form and confidence. It's coming and I shall be claiming my first goal since resuming as a footballer."
