Scott Sinclair is delighted to have finally put down roots and is now setting his sights on promotion.
The winger completed a switch to Swansea last summer after becoming disillusioned with life as a wandering loan star.
A spell at Premier League giants Chelsea left him frustrated, with his route to the Stamford Bridge first-team blocked at every turn.
It quickly became apparent that he needed to settle somewhere, with a succession of short-term deals doing him few favours.
The Swans offered him the opportunity he craved and he has been a revelation for the Welsh outfit this season.
Targets
His goals have helped to put Brendan Rodgers' side in the thick of a promotion battle, with just one point separating them from the top two in the Championship.
Sinclair hopes he can put the seal on a memorable year by clinching a Premier League place with Swansea, before heading off on international duty with England's U21s at this summer's European Championship.
"It would be the best summer if I could get promoted with my club and win the Championship,"he said.
"I've had seven loan deals and I was fed up of going on loan and not being settled.
"When you go on loan, you're not really part of that team and you go back and you never really know what's going to happen, so I thought it was best for me to go and get some football."
